We have a database built in Ac97 that is a standard here. A user has installed Ac2000. When he opens the db, he gets message – db you are trying to open or convert is currently in use, or you don’t have permission to open it exclusively. We don’t want to convert the db and we want the user to be able to use 2000. Is there a way to get around this with assigning permissions to this one user and keep the database in 97?? Or is there any other solutions I’m missing? Thanks!
