Access97 Running on Win2K Workstation

I have an access97 query that the criteria on a field is set to “IS NOT NULL” – query has always worked fine, but when I upgraded my workstation to win2k – the results of the query are now showing all null fields. Is there a setting on the workstation that needs to be changed?
