Accessing Admin account on XP

By jdclyde ·
We have mostly XPsp2 stations, no AD.

When turned on, MOST go to the blue screen with an icon and the user accounts. (most, not all)

On this screen SOMETIMES there is an icon for the administrative account and sometimes there is not.

How do I get this administrative account to show? Yes, I have physical access, and have the passwords. I can only currently get into the admin account by booting into safe mode and I KNOW that is not how to do it! Thanks!

First from the welcome screen you should be able to access the windows login by hitting ctrl-alt-del twice.

If you want still want to add the administrator to the welcome screen then here is a reg hack.

I know there is a way to do this without the hack I just cannot remember it. Sorry.
