My old HP laptop bit it. The HD is still good, so I put it into an external case w/ a USB interface. I tried accessing the files from my Tosh laptop running the same version of XP. I can review the file structure, click folders and see sub-folders, but I cannot open any docs. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get my files?
