Accessing Novell 3.12 from Win2k Pro

By TheDodger4053 ·
I need to setup one of our old Novell servers to access some data on it but I don't want all machines to access it.

How do I get my Win2K machine to access it as a secondary network?

Add the Client Service for NetWare (the Microsoft NetWare Client). Then you should be able to browse to the server in Network Neighborhood. If you can't see it, check the frame type the server is using and set the IPX protocol to use the specific network number and frame type assigned to the Novell server.

I would install Novell's client and enable bindery services.
