I have one machine (client) running Win2000, and I am running Win98 (host) on another machine. There is a hub where the Win2000 is connected to my machine Win98, but the Win2000 machine cannot dial-up or connect to the internet through the hub. Wecan access each other’s hard drives but not share either printers through the hub, although both printers are showing in “Network Neighborhood” folder.
Does anyone have any simple software that works with both operating systems or am I missing something? We set both printers as share, and all hard drives are shared.
We also have an external (Win2000 machine) modem and an internal (Win98 machine) modem.
Both modems work, but only on one machine.
