Account Policy for NT 4.0

By Vuitanh ·
How do I set password Expire for indivual or groups account. Reason for this that there are service accounts that I may not be aware of and password must not be changed or the account won't be able to work after password expired.

Can't, it's all or nothing. In User manager, under Policies-Account-Maximum Password Age, set it to expire when you want. Under your service accounts and accounts you don't want to have this rule effect, simply check "Password Never Expires." This will nullify your domain rule for these accounts. Also keep in mind this has to be done in each domain if you have more than one.

That help, but I'm wonder if there is alternative to third party software.
