Music CD’s and CD’s that come with software work fine. But audio CD’s I’ve made and data CD’s I’ve as well as CD’s made with Direct CD will no longer work.
When I insert them the green light flashs as well as the red light for my hard disk. After about 30 seconds but lights stop and the green light on the CD goes out.
If I click on the icon for the CD Rewriter I get the message to insert disk.
If I inser a blank disk the Adaptec softweare runs. But if I try to use Direct CD to initialize the blank disk it stops and says it could complete the operation.
If I try to make a Datat CD it seems to start alrigt but at some point I get a message that says something to the extent that there was a proplem with the output device. I am at a lost as to what the problem is.
