My acer aspire laptop wont boot up- it was on and working and it suddenly shut down. When i tried to turn it back on, it starts loading the microsoft windows screen, then it automatically goes black, shuts down, waits a few seconds and then starts rebooting itself.
I’m a teacher and have important docs on there- i have copies but they aren’t very recent.
I don’t suppose anyone has any ideas? I’ve tried running the recovery disk that it came with and it seems to ignore the CD drive- i changed the BIOS pages to make it look to the CD drive but it seems to ignore this.
Any help or hints would be very gratefully received!
