Acer start up issue

No I need to get a new hard drive if I receive this message at bootup?

Here the system is attempting to boot from the Network

So I would be entering the BIOS and setting the Primary Boot Device to the HDD not the Network.

While you may need to get a new HDD you just as likely may not as well it all depends on why the unit is searching the Network for a Boot Device.

Of course testing the HDD with it's makers Testing Utility will give you an answer very quickly as to if the HDD is working correctly or not.

If you know who the maker of your HDD is you can download the Testing Utility from here
