Dear who it may concern,
Maybe i should say, HELP, i need serious expert help.
Anyway, as I was checking my Task Manager, I found an exe called acs.exe. By the look of it, it is a legitimate exe but the problem is that i can not delete it. I know it is from a wireless software company named “Aetheros” but I dont have a wireless device on my comp. So I took the risk of downloading the Killprocess software to kill it. It killed the exe finally. I thought I had killed it but then it attach to other programs like explorer.exe, PC Sync.exe, and many more. Each time i killed it, it revived and attach to another exe to live on.
I’ve tried using Unhack Me, and Panda RootKit scan. None of them seems to be doing anything and the exe still lives.
Is there anyway that I can really really get that acs.exe out of my system, without having to format the whole computer again?
