Active/Active clustering in Windows

By bhshnravi ·
I have to create an active/active cluster in windows. I read the link http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/bknight/stepbystepclustering_1.asp?Tab=1

But a question about the Quorum disk, cluster with two nodes, in active/active cluster environment, both active node share same drive for quorum or both active node has different quorum drive.

In a windows cluster environment, the term active/active is really somewhat misleading.

In the case of SQL, a two node active/active cluster really means you create two seperate SQL instances and run one instance on each node. In planning this, you'll have to make sure that your hardware is able to run the instances on one node in case of a failure.
The cluster resources, like the quorum disk, willrun on one of the nodes.
