Active Desktop

While trying to restore active desktop on a local user account running XP on 2k3 server through AD I get an IE script error, The account has no rights so how the active desktop was disabled is another question. How do I recover active destop on that account? (active directory is enabled on the other users account)Any help would be appreciated.
