Active Directory and drive mapping via v

By culukn2 ·
I have just finished my migration of user workstations and laptops to an AD OU. The issue I see now is that under the new Domain structure some users can't map network shares on the network after the migration. All systems are running Windows 2000 SP3. I understand that under AD the authenication used is a kereboros authenication which could be causing the issue. Any have any ideas how to possibly fix this issue asside from the reg hack Microsoft recommends?

Your title says "via VPN" are we to assume that the problem only occurs with VPN users and not local users?

Yes. This issue only happens with users logging in via vpn. If they use dialup in conjunction with vpn it works. VPN alone doesn't.
