Active directory HELP!!!

by r_o_l_a_n_d . Updated 18 years, 1 month ago

i just finished formating my windows server 2003.
i set up active directory.
but now i have 3 problems:
1- my router gives my lan through dhcp service ips from network 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0
i’ve set the DHCP server to gives ips to the users on the domain from network 172.16.1.0 255.255.255.0 is that ok ?! as ill b having 2 lan interfaces, one with 192.168.0.10 (set it as static) and the other as 172.16.1.1 (as the domains default gateway) &then ill share the network cards so they could connect to one another.. is that logical to u ?!
ps: there are some servers on the main network 192.168.0.X that i want my domain users to have access to.. how would they able to do that?!

2- i dont know how to add users to my domain, i mean i know wht to do on the user’s (xp) side, but not on the ws2003! how do i add them?!

3- i want each user when they log into the domain to have his own desktop, tht means even if they logged into from another pc they would have access to their files.
