After experiencing hardware problem with my Windows 2008 DC1, I installed another machine and promoted it to Windows 2008 DC2 and transfered all 5 operations master roles to DC2. After repairs to DC1, I then transfered 5 Operations Master roles back to DC1. When I shut down DC2, none of the Users can log on. DC2 is still a Global Catalog and so is DC1. I need ideas to resolve this and decommision DC2.
