Active Domain Trust

I’m running W2K Server SP4 on 2 servers. Each server is currently on it’s own domain and are DC’s. (i.e., abc.com and abc.net) I want these to servers to communicate with each other and replicate as if they were parent/child within the same forest. I’ve tried to create a trust between the two however am not having any success. From what I understand W2K only supports 1 way non transitive and 2 way transitive. I’m having some issues getting 2 way working properly.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate.
