active windows

after installing windows xp from product cd there was no request to enter product key and now after rebooting pc the edit shows up in the lower right hand corner of the desktop – 30 days to activate windows, then the box (windows activated click ok, and it goes away till next reboot. any way of getting rid of this annoying edit??? pls. hurry!! thx. chao.
