Microsoft is releasing an update to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP SP2 and 2003 SP1 that changes the way ActiveX and other embedded controls such as Flash and Java applets are handled. More information is at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/912945.
There are already known issues with Java 1.3 and 1.4 as well as the Google Toolbar.
Have you downloaded and tested this patch with your company’s web applications? If so, have you found any applications that stop functioning correctly? How are you going to let your users know about it?
