AD Exchange size limits

By dilligaffer ·
I'm setting up AD using Exchange General tab then Storage Limits then I set the following - Storage limits - Issue warning at 153600 KB for 150 MB and Prohibit send and receive at 5000 KB for 5 MB. Now testing on my account it stops all send and receives and issues a warning that I'm over the limit when my mailbox is only showing less than 20 MB in size. Any thoughts? Plus when I set this back it takes awhile to replicate. I can't deploy this until I figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I am assuming there is no typo error in your question.if your mailbox limit is at 150MB,prohit send and receive has to be a larger value.Change the prohit send/receive to value larger than 150MB and test.Write back if at all success.I think thats where the problem is.Hope this helps

Oh wait I see what you mean I set the send and receive to 5 MB thinking this was the size of a file you could send/receive. Anyway thank you I see the error of my ways. Thanks again
