Here is the situation.I have a PIII computer with adaptec 2940UW PCI Adapter.Everything is fine in BIOS,the motherboard recognizes the 2 hard drives which are located on Adaptec 2940.After booting and entering SCSI Setup,everything is fine again,the adapter recognizes the 2 hard drives.But when i try to install Windows XP it does not see any hard discs.when i installed windows on an additional IDE drive,it recognizes the adapter but still no hard drives.(except the IDE one).here is the link on adaptec site http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/support/scsi/2940/AHA-2940UW/
if anyone has any ideea what to do in order to be able to use the SCSI hard drive in windows XP pls post.thanks
