Adding 2000Pro Clients to NT4 Domain

We have four servers – PDC, BDC, Proxy Server, and IIS all on NT4 Server boxes. All 250 workstations run WIN95. What is the best/easiest way for us to upgrade our network? I mean, can new clients running 2000 Professional log onto an NT4 domain, andwill the NT policies and user profiles work on the 2000 clients? We would prefer to leave NT4 on the servers for now, and perhaps upgrade all workstations to 2000 Pro. Will that work?
