Adding a Network Printer

How do l add a network color printer in a lan setup in 1997. The guy who setup network printers set them up using jetadmin, created the printers on the print server;so when you want to connect to printer, you logon to the network and click the printer you want and installation is launched. so how do l add more and newer printers to the lan??
