Adding a printer to a laptop computer

My Desktop is running Vista Ultimate 32 Bit with three usb printer. I also have a laptop that is running Vista Home Premium 64 Bit. I want to set up a printer to my laptop, but don't know how to do this. I would like to share one of the printer on my desktop with my laptop. Would appreciate some help on this.

that is physically connected to your desktop computer?

Or do you want to take one of the printers away from the desktop and connect it to the laptop?

Yes to share the printers that is physically connected to my desktop computer with my laptop.

Sharing is possible IF you have a small network. What other equipment do you have besides the two computers?

I have a dsl modem, and a Linksys Wireless-G Router WRT54G2. I have a desktop and a laptop both can get to the internet. Three printer usb hooked up to desktop. Running Vista Ultimate 32 Bit on desktop and the laptop is running Vista Home Premium 64 Bit. Just trying to share a printer on the laptop with anyone on my desktop. Thanks for your help....
