hi, We have one Windows 2000 server (abc.com) acting as our DC having Active Dir Services install.
It authenticates users & works fine. The domain name came as ABC.com automatically, even as we gave it as ABC.
We need to add one more DC as backup to the existing one.
When we install Active Dir Services on the new one, it says unable to find ABC.com (even as it shows abc.com in the window) & does not allow us.
Is there a way to remove ABC.com, create a new domain as domain & use it,without affecting the users/passwords etc.
Any help is appriciated.
