adding domain accounts to xp

I have recently installed xp & adc new. I have user accounts in adc that have administrator permissions.

I have also joined my xp machine to the domain, using the network wizzard.

My problem is I cannot add any domain account to the local xp machine. for instance, I wanted to create a new folder and use my domain permissions to manange the folder. However, when I look for the Domain & user accounts/groups I can only see the local machine’s.
