Our local office has decided to go to DSL for the internet. We have about 50 computers connected to our local network on a win NT server with DHCP running. We also have our gateways set so that we can go out through our router to our home office. Wepurchased a Linksys router, I had to change the IP address of it so it was in our relm. I then followed instructions to set it up as a Gatway since we already have a router on our network. I was told that I will need to set up another gateway to allow all the internet traffic to go to the linksys router and then on to the DSL modem. How do I go about adding another Gateway? and what kind of cable will I need Straight or Cross to plug the Linksys router into the Hub.
I just happen to be the only one in my office who is computer literate, and would appreciate any help. Thank you.
