Adding local printers

Here is what happens…. I start installing a local printer and go through all the steps but when I finally click Finish, I get the message that says “Printer driver was not installed. Operation could not be completed.”

I’ve tried setting it upto print to file, lpt1, and an ip address.

Any ideas?
