Adding Printer to W2k

I just purchased a new computer with 128 MB Ram, 30 GB hard drive, an Athalon 900 processor. I partioned the hard drive so that Windows would install on the Primary (C) drive of 5GB, and all programs would install on 10GB drive E:. Drive F is for storage of all documents. I successfully installed Windows 2000 Professional on the C drive and Office 2000 Premium on the E drive. But when I tried to Add Printer, I got the error message saying “Printer operation cannot continue due to lack of resources. The print system is unavailable.” Does anyone know why I would recieve this rpoblem, and what I need to do to fix this?
