Adding printers when not in the same domain

By pg ·
Hi
In our company domain we regularly use computers that are members of other domains (customers). Is it at all possible to use network printers in our domain from these computers?

You should be able to connect to it on a short term

basis if you know the unc path to the server hosting the printer, or the ip address of the printer. Most printers are embedded OS platforms, and are not "truly" part of a domain, as long as you have connectivity to the printer, drivers, and nothing is preventing your access, yes you can print just fine.
