Adding Windows 95/98 users

By rmessier ·
I want my kids to have a separate logon to our home pc, but I want them to have their own directories, files, etc... and not be able to get into mine. I would like to restrict them from getting into my programs. Is this possible with Windows 98SE?
If so, where could I get some information on how to do this. Is there a step by step procedure available.

This is not possible with only win9x as win9x doesn't provide any security. You need a 3th party software to accomplish this.
Maybe security administrator can help you. I know it secures the logon, I dont know about securing the folders.
Thats whynt or w2k and xp are built, because they provide security with the OS.

I would rather suggest to upgrade to w2k.
