I inherit an Exchange 5.0 Server, and it was configure with an embarrassingly long SMTP address. This Exchange Server talks to a Bridgehead Server in a different location which control by different unit of the Organization. Some other pier units maintain their own exchange server having the same address “suffix” as what we have. Together we maintain our own internal email system with an global address list.
I don?t mind to register another domain name and connect to an additional ISP if we need, but I would like to do it as little impact as possible. Is it doable for me to add an additional SMTP address coexisting with one we have? How do I go about doing it? Thanks.
