I’m currently using WinME. In the previous versions of Windows (95,98,etc) you could simply copy your *.wab file from the C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book directory and back it up for safe keeping. It appears that Windows ME doesthings differently. I just noticed that the address book isn’t using the *.wab file in the above mentioned directory. Instead it is taking my address book info from someplace else. Anyone know where that location is?
Whats the “Bigfoot Internet Directory Service”? Don’t tell me I have to re-enter all my address book info again. I suspect my address book information is being supplied by the above mentioned Directory Service. If thats the case all the updates I’ve made to my address book are null-n-void. Saving the *.wab file will only save my old information. Why must Microsoft complicate things?
Someone want to shead some light on this situation?
