Address List

If you are using Active Directory, open the AD Users and Computers console. If you will be creating multiple global distribution groups, create a new OU container (i.e. "DistGroups"). Right click your new container (or other existing container, ifyou don't create a new one) and select "New", then "Group". Give your distribution group a name (I recommend the name start with "#", so it will appear at the top of the list when users go to select a group) and then select a scope. Under group type, select "Distribution". Click "Next". Check the box to "Create an Exchange e-mail address". Click "Next" then "Finish". Now, when you open your e-mail client, your distribution group will be available in the list of global contacts.

Hope this has been useful for you.

Best Regards,
