Have switched over to W2k domain. I need to make a new group and restrict most of the domain to them. The domain is very small. When I select a drive and change the permissions, files/folders the the administrator is not the owner will not allow any access at all. Users can see folders/files with the new setting (as permissions allow) except for objects where the owner is not the administrator. If I make the administrator the owner of all objects and reapply the new permissions then alls well. Unfortunatly I can’t (won’t) do that on the main file server. Hmmmm!!! thanks Mike
