Administrative Privilages…

by raju.virtuegroup . Updated 17 years, 6 months ago

Hi All,
I am new to Networking. I installed Windows 2003 as a server and Windows xp sp2 as a client in Vmware. I installed Active directory and created some users. After that i login into client. its all working fine. I added some users into “Administrators” group so that i can work on administrator tasks. but when i logged into the client with the users who are the members of “Administrators” group and want to change the setting like “date and time” then it shows that “you do not have the proper privilege levels to change the system time”. I added those users into all the groups where the administrator itself is the member of that group, then i am able to change, but its not a good idea i think. I am able to change the time using local administrator and domain administrator. I installed in different systems then also it showing the same problem. Previously i worked on this vmware, but i didnt get this type of problem.
why i am getting this problem now. why i didnt get previously. i used same os cds and same vmware-6 software.

plz help me.
Thanku…
