ADOBE ACROBAT READER

By atsoi ·
Many of our users have problems opening and printing from Adobe Acrobat Reader. When they try to do that, the PC crash. We are using Win 95/98 and Me OS. We have tried different versions of Acrobat Reader, but still have no luck indentifying the cause of the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please advise. Many thanks!

Generally, Adobe Acrobat Reader does not raise any problem on PC (all windows platform), except you have bad memory module. Try to replace your memory module with 'known' brand like Micron or Simple.

Try upgrading your swap-files. PDF-format tends to generate huge RAW data when being printed. This can cause your system to go down from a simple lack of resources (since windows Me is so good with memory allocation ..). Try setting the pagefiles to3 time the physical memory. good luck!
