How do you remove the security on a PDF file so that you can edit it?

Thanks

As far as I know, with the acrobate reader, the person that has created the pdf file has put some restrictions. You can see them by going into file-properties.
If you are restricted to edit the file, you wont be able to touch it.

The only other way that you might be able to edit the file would probably be with Acrobate writer !

I opened the file with Acrobat Writer, still could not edit it. What do I need to do in Acrobat Writer to edit it?

Thanks

You might want to export it in word and then re-create the PDF ... But I am not sure that it will work.
