Is there any way to directly transfer a film clip from QuickTime format to an ASF file? (i.e. without having to convert from QuickTime to AVI first)

I too have looked for a such a solution but haven't found anything yet. What I do is use Quicktime to convert it to AVI then take it to ASF using Windows Media Encoder, it almost does it in one step.. kinda.

Cleaner5, from Terran Interactive (www.terran.com) can perform this conversion, and can even batch process multiple files. Although it is moderately expensive at ~$500, it quickly pays for itself in saved time if you convert video files on a daily basis.
