Adobe Reader for Windows Server 2008

By omegafire ·
Im trying to install Adobe Reader for Windows Server 2008. Is there a way to do this or is it just not supported by Adobe yet?

I tried to use the installation for Windows Server 2003 and it gives an incompatible operating system error.

Thanks in advance.

I believe that only Adobe Acrobat 9

Is compatible with Server 2008. At the moment it is the full professional version you can give it a try and download the Trial Copy from here

This should work for Testing Purposes but if you are attempting to fit this OS into a Production Environment I think you'll be in for a world of trouble. I have yet to finish testing 2008 but as things stand at the moment it's not yet ready for any Mission Critical work.

I will probably just skip out on the Adobe for now. The server is actually going into production... not by my doing but our network admin's -- with little to no testing. I'll let you know how that turns out.

Well provided you are not held responsible

There are no real problems unless of course the system falls over so much that it adversly affects the bottom line of the company.
