ADS Replication

Can anybody explain the Win2k Active Directory Replication Process. what gets replicated in this process. if i create a user account in one DC, will it get replicated to another Dc in a same domain??

Better you resort to sites like support.microsoft.com. They have (freely available) extensive background documents on the replication process.
But to answer the question with the tip of the iceberg:
Yes, essentially each DC contains all user accounts of this domain. In 2003 edition this will change with the option of partitioning, but you'd only like to use that in case of low-bandwidth WAN's.

I think you also need a Global Catalogue available to log on?

The first installed DC in any domain aotomatically becomes the GLOBAL CATOLOG SERVER for that domain
