After installing a new device

I have seen this befor on 95/98 NT and 2000 you get windows has installed new software for your device you need to reboot. But it comes up every time you reboot, there is an edit in the registry or some thing like that to fix it. This is a w2kpro install with 1gig mem, 40gighd, raid/scsi, ragevideo. No probs in devices/ the device is loaded in the 5th ide and works fine.
