AGP, IDE, and SCSI errors

by theq . Updated 25 years, 4 months ago

I have a Windows 98 machine with AMD k6-2 500, 196Mb of RAM, Acer CD-RW 10x4x32 drive, CD-Blaster 52x CD-Rom, 3gb WD HDD, Stealth III Savage 4 Pro+ AGP card.

I think that there is an error with the AGP miniport driver, and the driver for the savage card itself. When they are both installed I get the Blue screen of death. I have tried to reinstall drivers, install updated drivers, reseat the card, etc. Any ideas whats going on with that?

Other problem I am having is with CD-Rom, CD-RW drive, or the software for the CD-RW(Adaptec EZ CD creator, DirectCD). Blue screen of death reads SCSIPORT error, and PCID error. Exact error messages i didn’t write down. I renamed SCSI.PDR in windows/system/iosubsys. That got ride of the error, but my cdrom and rw dont boot up when windows starts. There are no SCSI devices in my computer, all IDE.
