I see many people lanquishing over what certification to have or what degree to have. Which headhunter is better than the other and what should or should not be on a resume, yet I never hear of anyone speaking of AITP, NASPA, etc. which are professional organizations for
the mingling of professionals.
Remember: people hire people. If you were hiring someone would you be more inclined to offer it to someone you knew
who was a good, capable person or would you hire a stranger with a ton of paper credentials?
Make contacts – – get to know people.
You’ll have far more opportunities come
your way doing that than from all of the certifications on earth.
