AIX 5.3 Network share to Windows

By JimKlallsoo ·
Hi, i would like to know how to create a network share between a Windows 2003 server and be able to access it from my AIX 5.3 server.
I would also like to know how to do this in reverse. Creating an AIX share and being able to access it from my Windows XP PC or Windows 2003 server.

If anyone could send me a link to a page which has a step by step guide on how to do this i would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks to all who take time to read or respond this request.

SAMBA NFS share

Windows Shares do not play with Unix hosts, but SAMBA shares can interact with Active Directory, so the Samba NFS share would look just like another Windows drive.

You could setup a SFTP server on the Windows box or the Unix box, but that's not
going to be as well integrated as Samba.

Of course if you don't care about security, FTP servers/clients exist on both boxes.
