We have a RS6000 server sitting across a WAN and require access to it via a firewall. We use ftp & telnet but rsh is “forbidden” for security reasons.
Has anyone done rsh via a Cisco PIX firewall ? It is urgent as we need to download entire systems from time to time for support purposes. The application specialists sit in a central location and need to upload / download the systems for support.
