An elf told me that I might get a laptop for Christmas (or shortly thereafter). There are two that I’ve been looking at:

This will replace my home desktop which I use for word processing, lots of Web surfing, music downloading and playing, photo uploading, editing, and posting, etc. I’m also hoping to venture back into the world of the Sims (http://www.maxis.com/) when I get a new system.
Basically, I’m looking for speed, ease of use (a good layout in terms of keyboard, screen, etc.), and the ability to fulfill all my Entertainment needs.
Any opinions on these two?
