What would explain why every CD, including data CDs would be viewed as audio CDs? The data CD reads fine on another computer. It has report files on it. On the computer in question, it keeps seeing it as an audio CD, and therefore, she can’t get it to work for her. Is this an IDE cable issue or a setting that needs to be edited??? I got the call over the phone. I believe it’s a Compaq Deskpro 4000?
