I went to a site while ago called roommates.ca for a friend and as I was signing her up it was giving me a problem and told me I needed to lower my security settings. After doing this all my troubles began. Zone Alarm quarantined a virus called win32 isbar.450 and ad-aware found spyware called B40_myway I have lost all of my desktop shortcuts, programs won’t open and have had to change the way I opened my exe programs to get my programs to work. When I login to windows I get a screen with a couple of weird looking symbols on the top of it and an ok screen. If I don’t hit the ok then I can not login to windows. When I go to print a document it can not find the ink in the printer and it tells me to add the ink which was just replaced a short time ago. I have run about 4 different online anti virus programs and found nothing and not much in the spyware either. I am running a Dell Dimension 5150 with xp. I can add a hijack this log if that would be helpful. Thanks, Ralph.
