All Icons on desktop look like outlook I

All of the Icons on my NT Workstation desktop are Outlook Icons. I can see the correct Icon behind the outlook Icon how do I get the correct Icons back.

Are you sure someone isn't playing a joke on you? The fact that you can "see the correct icon behind the outlook icon" reminds me of a trick that one of our techs played on another. He used alt+printscrn, pasted the desktop image into Paint, and then installed that paint file as the background under Display Properties. Afterwards, the desktop appeared as if it had icons on top of each other; one worked and the other didn't.

Check for TweakUI in the NT Resource kit or on Microsoft.com

There is an option to rebuild icons when the icon cache gets corrupt. This may fix your problem.
